FRENCH CONNECTION FOR FOCUS POINT VISION CARE GROUP

Focus Point Vision Care Group recently completed C’EST LA MODE at Tropicana Golf & Country Resort.
What on earth is C’EST LA MODE, you may ask? It’s French(pronounciation: “say-la-mo”) and it means: “It’s fashion”. The team building activity is a high interactive yet fun filled event – a great platform to charge up, live up and speed up your team towards goal achievement!
Teams started with a Number Game without talking but yelling, swearing (in a good way), demanding, strategizing and anticipating – it was intense. After they sort out their team leaders, teams begin to put on their designer hats to create the team’s identity the way the fashion industry do with branding. Creativity was in the air and teams was challenging, spying, and peeping their competition to outdo one and another. Yes, this is the effect or our ALL OUR BONDING ACTIVITIES, to ultimately create a platform for teams to – INSPIRE, CONNECT, & ENGAGE with each other.
There were 2 key elements for our events – to be CREATIVE AND have FUN whilst doing that. To end it all, the hilarious CATWALK SHOW was a SHOWTIME by itself where teams show off their beautiful creations and unique characteristics! The Focus Point staff transform into fashion designers and models and get themselves on the runway to show off their masterpieces. Laughter and noise rocked the house and ended the event at an all time HIGH!

Volvo Malaysia host a group of their Asia Regional Dealers at the spectacular Pangkor Laut Resort. We were recommended to Volvo by our hotel partner YTL Hotels & Resorts, and very quickly we secured the deal because of our unique product which is NOT FOUND anywhere else – “FISHY BUSINESS”.

Working with people from countries across Asia – Korea, Thailand, Phillipines, Hong Kong, & Malaysia can be challenging due to language but our team greeted every in their language, did an ice-break, and put them into teams. If ever you get the chance to see the difference BEFORE & AFTER the activity, you’ll be surprised how “FISHY BUSINESS” makes people PLAY WITHOUT BORDERS! The organizers were exceptionally happy with the outcome because it was totally hilarious, it was easy to understand, it was long and short enough to fill up an afternoon, and everyone got down and got FISHY!

Berjaya Times Square Kuala Lumpur approached us for an extra-ordinary event – to host 100 of their top supporting agents – but they didn’t want the usual cocktail event with elaborate shows or performances. They wanted something INTERACTIVE yet able to showcase the hotel’s various venues, highlights, and restaurants.
Our team quickly gave them the idea of what is currently known as “Murder Mystery” and twitch it to give it an edge and named it “CSI HAWAII”. Naturally the event was themed Hawaiian and we had it was a murder mystery that participants had to solved. Instead of a usual dining and cocktail event, participants walked around the hotel looking for clues and connecting with the sales team of Berjaya Times Square.
Was it a blast, you may ask? Yes, and did everyone chip in? No…. because you’ll always have those few skeptics who has a mind of their own. But did we make a difference with the event – YOU BET WE DID! They now know Berjaya Times Square is not just a conference hotel with more than 600 rooms, but a hotel that can cater to your every whims & fancy – creative, vibrant and different. That’s what sets them apart from their competition and therefore meeting the purpose of the event.
Why make your event just-another-event? Give it purpose, and a whole new meaning for your audience to contemplate and remember YOU!

The Tree
Starwood Hotels & Resorts, a leading worldwide hotel management brand approached us for a unique activity on a superb location for 100 of their top supporting secretaries from multi-national companies based in Kuala Lumpur. The venue must be within driving distance from KL with easy access and sufficient parking bays. Starwood has also done all sorts of incentive programs from cocktails to lavish dinners and they want a “UNIQUE EXPERIENCE” which is refreshing yet classic. Our team came out with this magnificent idea of throwing a picnic at the beautiful Lake Gardens surrounded with lush green gardens and quaint lakes. We have to first think of a location with toilets, water an energy supply and we quickly made a formal request to the officials for as soon as we identify our garden venue. Set behind a prominent tree as background, we place bright coloured balloons, with picnic mats under the tree while the hotel focused on their outdoor picnic luncheon theme. For entertainment, we got all the secretaries “FISHY” with our signature team bonding activity “FISHY BUSINESS”. The event was a huge success and the wow-factor was not only the unique location – Lake Gardens, but the picnic luncheon, the fishy activity and the closing where all participants had a great laugh with individual fish team presentation. It was not only fun, but it was entertaining, hilarious and absolutely different from what one expects.
